Saying Goodbye to my Golf Blue .2GT3

Not directing this at anyone, just a good read on hypocrisy:
SHORT STORY :FUNNY HYPOCRITE SITUATION
Jaydip Kansara
In a small town in America, a person decided to open up his bar
business, which was right opposite to a church. The church & its
congregation started a campaign to block the bar from opening with
petitions and prayed daily against his business.
Work progressed. However, when it was almost complete and was about to
open a few days later, a strong lightning struck the bar and it was
burnt to the ground. The church folk were rather smug in their outlook
after that, till The bar owner sued the church authorities for
$2million on the grounds that the church through its congregation &
prayers was ultimately responsible For the demise of his bar shop,
either through direct or indirect actions or means.
In its reply to the court, the church vehemently denied all
responsibility or any connection that their prayers were reasons to
the bar shop’s demise. In support of their claim they referred to the
Benson study at Harvard that inter-cessionary prayer had no impact !
As the case made its way into court, the judge looked over the
paperwork and at the hearing and commented:
"I don’t know how I am going to decide this case, but it appears from
the paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer and we have an entire church and its devotees that does not."

In the very near future, we can begin calling this process, "Pulling A Martin" and drop this whole derogatory flipper nonsense.

Martin buys car
Martin decides car isn't to his liking
Martin trades back to dealer
The issue??
He supposed to be married to it forever? Sell to someone at a fire sale to have the next guy sell for more? Dealer gives market trade in $$, whatever that is. Fair if you ask me. Most guys are not happy with trade in values.
Do the math, nobody is making $$ on these deals really (99% of time), other than the dealer who's in business to do so as they should.

Have some .2 GT3 complaints been ??
Clutch too light
Gear ratio too short
Car too quiet
Made too street-able
The "edge" has been taken off it?
Seems like everyone is looking forward to the RS.

Martin,
Do you feel like your expectations of your GT3 were not fully realized since you never got the engine above 7k rpm? In fact, as you claim, 90% of your driving experience with your car was under 5k rpm.
Or do you just prefer the low, quiet growl of the lower rpm ranges?
Similarly, when you get your RS, do you plan on driving it above 4K rpm?
I know a guy who swears his RS is most fun between 2900-3300rpm... maybe you feel the same? He loves starting in 5th gear and leaving it there until he hits 3500rpm and then he quickly backs off.

To say your GT3 just didn't give you the thrill you were looking for when you didn't even rev the thing past 5k during your 3-month ownership experience is about as dumb as a FOOTBALL BAT
