Are GT3s with ADM moving off dealer lots?

The Auratium one is not too bad ($178,290 MSRP), but many cars are out there with massive MRSP numbers and the on the ground/used market is cost sensitive. I also think a lot of the people looking for allocations are doing so not only to get their personal spec (and color which is huge for PTS — one man’s dream is another’s Florida retiree green), but also to spec the car sensibly. I know I fit in that category. As much as I like the Greenwich car and has everything I specced on mine (including color but except touring) it has ~$11k in cosmetic options I don’t want and would take even if they were free — full leather (ok maybe if it were free), LEDs, light design, carbon trim, illuminated carbon sills, chrono with white dial, white gauges.
The very few “stripper” spec cars I have seen have sold quickly at healthy premiums. Buyers did not seem to care if they had leather or whatever else they did not have. (Missing FAL and maybe tank is another story).

Agree, although $5k seems pretty light and have not seen any quite that low. Even finding one advertised at $10k over, I don’t think I have seen that (although I am sure some have sold at that price and know if one that is likely available at that price.)

Interesting as those ADM's cannot help but impact the secondary markets for these cars. Sounds like the dealer positioned this T as a model as opposed to an option. 12 months from now will be telling as to impact of demand, supply and ADM's.

A recent buyer purchased a Sappbire car that’s a stripper spec, has 8000 miles, and an accident on its Carfax. He mentioned that he paid a few grand over MSRP.
Could be a sign of stripper specs selling fast, but I would consider this car a big outlier. It sat for 5 months, which is crazy long for a .2 GT3. From my observations in the market, the buyer overpaid by about $8-10K at least.

Gentlemen it's all supply and demand,....and if the buyer has the cash readily he will buy.
No disrespect to anybody here but some have plenty of cash....and then there are the guys that don't have all the cash.
to throw at stuff that they want so they think about it harder like myself...to give over adm.
at the end of day it's a car which is a toy....just like Ferrari ,lambo etc.

I dont trust any car that "sells" on ebay. Its a fake market. Really, ebay is only used for advertising the car. Not many folks bid and truly buy a $150k plus car on ebay. Most real buyers contact the seller and negotiate from there, So, highly unlikely the $158k is a real, legitimate sale. I wouldnt bet my worthless corded tires that a buyer actually paid a seller $158k for that car. Could have been more, could have been less, or maybe it wasnt sold at all

Agree. There's no way to be sure but I offered the seller $154K cash and he turned me down 2 weeks back. He said he was looking for a tad higher to assume it sold for $158K +/- $5K. But you're right, no way to be sure but at least $158K is in the ballpark.

I bet a dealer bought that car and will resell for 10 k more....lol.
dealers are notorious of buying cars on eBay.
they stole a couple cars right under my nose.
i almost bought about year ago a 16 silver rs with 600 miles.
i had bid 191k and he bid a few dollars more and I lost it...I called seller an he said. Dealer beat me to it.
within a week it was in eBay for 20k more.
i lost a 2013 spider 458 to a dealer also ....the dealer bought it and post within a few days for 25 k more.

Just got an offer for $8,000 over MSRP on a very highly spec car minus PTS and has less then 2,000 miles. is this reasonable ???

It appeared to me that you were hoping to purchase a GT3 with PTS, correct me if I am wrong. If you don't care for PTS, then make sure it is a car with the right options
The BALL is in your court, you have the upper-hand.
Look at this thread

They wanted 6 K over and there were no serious buyers (not sure if the car is still there). Would even try 5 k and see what they say.
Do you own or drive a dodge viper? Good luck.
