Oh lord, you mean it might cost money to own a toy and play with it? No one will be dumping these. My dealer said he could sell 15 more than he could get.

1 Maritime Blue
1 Pantone Blue awhile back (not sure if still available)
I made 2 offers on the Acid Green car at Bentley Gold Coast. Didn't so much as receive a call back (or an email). Probably for the best.

I hope MSRP becomes more common. I was offered a popular pts color, winged with buckets and manual 2 days ago at MSRP. Never owned a porsche before and the closest thing I own to a Porsche is an e36 m3! Sadly I passed on the car as it was 20k more than I budgeted myself. Dealer wanted to stay amongst their clientiel otherwise would have posted here (had my name on a list)

On second thought, a steal for a PTS car would be MSRP. $15k is simply fair, not a steal.
With so many ‘used’ GT3s for sale, I have to believe MSRP is not too hard to find.
Tourings with higher premiums makes sense to me baecause there’s less supply.

The second wave of buyers waited this long because they did not want to pay 20k-50k over MSRP originally.

I was offered a GT3 at MSRP about 6 months ago. No trade necessarily involved.

couple dealers are now listing 14K over and many at 20K over and I can see price coming down in the near future.

the cheapest GT3 I have seen. 158K with not many options

My dealer called last week and told me about a changeable Touring in November for $35K over. I told my friend about it and he called the dealer. He told me the dealer would not budge at all and so he ended up agreeing on their price and spec it out the next day.

vipertom there might be us guys that don't want to pay....over
and I tried but I couldn't get a car no where,
only thing I got was iam either not in there area for msrp.
Or get on the list for msrp...which I did and dealer basically
took deposit for a year and left me waiting in the dark.
until I grabbed my money back.
i guess it's Because I live in a suburb of Philly.....there are many buyers around here and not enough cars.
the dealer that services my r8 says to me give me your car for a trade and maybe I will get u a car...no guarantee .
And now the guys who got cars are unloading them because they are getting a 3rs...so yes you can used car..for a couple dollars
more.
But I want a new car....!!

A little birdie told me the Auratium in Greenwich sold at $35k over today. Unverified.

I find it hard to believe that these still sell for such premiums (even in Greenwich, CT), considering the quantity available.

Poorly optioned cars that most people don’t really want but might settle for will probably have a lower selling price, of course. I couldn’t see myself settling for a car of this caliber if I didn’t optioned it exactly like I wanted it, but that’s me. Properly optioned cars, especially with the right color or PTS will command a hefty premium for a while, well into next year. But then again, options and colors are subjective. But I don’t see them coming down unless the seller is desperate. Especially when end of production is right around the corner.

are you willing to pay 20k-30k over MSRP at this stage of the game ? I do see many asking 20k over which was impossible couple months ago.

Tom,
I think A LOT of people would be willing to pay 20-30k over for spec-allocation at this stage. I think 5-10 K for ground/used cars are becoming more realistic.
