This thread can always use more pictures so here's some blue hour shots from the Texas hill country.

For better or for worse, this is the much more common scenery.

Also carelessly curbed both driver side wheels yesterday in a construction zone. 🤬 Think it was just the universe telling me "new year, new wheels". Coming soon...

Our license plates are related. I'm N0 ****. A little less subtle and a little more English, well kinda.

Stunning pics and location from post #4322

Keeping the 992 Touring or trading it in for another 991.2 Touring? 3's NOT a crowd.

LOL, similar indeed! I'm moving states soon so I'll have to hope my current plate is available in my new home or start getting creative again.

I would be surprised at that number but not shocked. These cars are going up in value and certainly not going down. As far as the Lava orange, I had a 2016 Lava RS as it was the launch color. I don’t really see the added value (unless you really want one in that color) because it’s supposed to be 1 of 3 in North America. That just means that no one cared to spec
it that way. Let’s see what happens.

For an orange car with 15k miles? No way. Maybe $230, which is still way too much.

It went for $239,000, $244,000 with the BAT fee. Pretty darn close to 250k...

18k miles. $244 including $5k commision. WIll be over $300k in no time at all.

I sold my 993S for $102k back in 2017 which was ALL THE MONEY. Now that same car is $180k. Which is double MSRP.

The 991.2 Touring is the next 993S.

Strong number for a car with 18k miles. I don’t think that’s high mileage but others do. I thought it would go for around 235k. Recently a Chalk one sold for 238k and a Jet Black Metallic sold for 242k not including the 5k BAT fee. Pretty consistent.

I bought my widebody (4S) with 30k miles for ~$79k back in '19. Same car today would probably be close to double. The wide body 993s went crazy.

The trajectory of the Touring is similar, I don't think 993 values ever truly tanked. They stay pretty strong through successive 911 generations and really exploded post-COVID.
