To the touring owners. If I found the perfect touring for sale that checks every box except the exterior color. Is it something I should go for? Would it stop others in the same situation? Of should I hold out for the color?
I only bought my Touring a few months ago.
The main reason I bough mine is because I’m not sure about the 992 if I really like it or not plus Don't like the gen 1 of any model and usually avoid buying that first model.
I searched for a Touring for over 12 months the one I ended up buying is not my colour choice either it’s a PTS Midnight Blue the only one I know of in this colour however I would have Picked Agate grey as my choice or a different PTS but the car ticks all the other boxes on spec o I could not pass on it.
As long as it’s not a colour you hate and the rest of the car is good go for it.
I found here in Australia there are not many Tourings 28 total I was told so the options are limited.
You have to be quick when Tourings come up for sale at least we have to here in Australia.
I sealed the deal with mine in 24 hours of it being advertised for sale.
New to me GT3 Touring in Graphite Blue Metallic. I was actually not expecting to like the color so much - but in low light it's a dark gray almost like slate gray, then in brighter lights it takes on a grayish blue hue. You can see it on the pics below.
Love it and love the car - especially since I put in an Akrapovic exhaust and headers.

Only 28 bugger , got expression of interest down for 992 GT3T , but could be interested in 991.2 if the right one comes along , but with that few in Australia could be a long shot.

I had been on the look out for about 18 months before mine popped up for sale.
I have the only other one in the state there was only one sold by my local Porsche centre here.
There is a Rhoduim silver one for sale here stock car no options at all and the owner asking silly money for it.

This is possibly why they seem to hold their value better here then the winged version.
a manual gt3 v a touring with the GT3 being better optioned then the Touring the Tourings when they do come up for sale are usually at a premium on 30 to 40k more.
