GT3 RS with WP is deemed to be a separate car so it needs to be homologated in its own right. Porsche would therefore need to homologate two cars (which is a very expensive exercise) for what is only a short production run next year, So AFAIK, Porsche will only homologate a non-WP car and dealers have been already informed that there will be no WP in next years run.

Oh boy, now everyone will want WP because they can't get it. Maybe they'll at least make some pts in 2nd tranche.

I can't believe they consider it a separate car for some unpainted CF?!

I got my car and had a chance to put up some miles and I am blown away. What a gem of a car.
Will post a more in depth opinion shortly. I will be comparing it to my outgoing .2 gt3.

WP Is the option not the different car.

I can't believe it took me this long to notice, but, can someone take a peek at their car and confirm something for me?

Do you have "GT3 RS" embroidered in the rear center tunnel?

My 991.2 GT2 RS does. My 991.1 GT3 RS does. But my 991.2 GT3 RS has no embroidery in the rear center tunnel at all. In fact, it looks like the 997.x RS rear center tunnel -- simply carpet.
