Thanks for the links to the reviews! I didn't know when the debate about seats was going to end!

I'm on my dealer's list for the RS, and can likely get one. Doesn't make much rational sense for me to get one, but I sure am tempted!

The red RS with arum wheels in the Autocar review looks fantastic. For some reason this colour combination really works on this car. Rally tempted to change my config from LG to GR so it matches my Touring and 964 RS.

With the silver wheels?

You should get the seat you want the most, but know all the facts before jumping in:

1. Look at the average resale difference of 991.1 GT3RS bucket vs 18way
2. Know the difference in looks (and I'm not talking about from a GT4 where you can't see the carbon seat back from 3 windows like the 911)
3. 100% possibility of some RL snobs calling your car not a real RS and said you've made the wrong choice (99% chance no one will say you made a wrong choice with buckets)
4. Cost of adding in a 4 way sofa seat into your bucket-optioned RS: 7k-11k. Cost of adding two bucket seats into your 18-way optioned RS: $30k +

If #1 - #4 all sounds good to you, then you can make the right decision

None of those count for a jot if you find the LWBs uncomfortable (which they are). Who's gonna care about other people's judgement?!

Anyway, the answer is, as posted on several other threads, to get the Autoquest seat angle adjusters, which incline the seats back a few degrees making them bearable.

No, because the Arum wheels look so good with GR, I would go with them. It's the red with gold that works. I think its because GR has an orange tone to it.

Thanks.......my V250 date is 20 July though sometimes they lock a bit earlier then projected. Still have a little time to agonize over the choice.

Has anyone been able to find a Lizard Green GT3-RS model (1:43)? If so please post a link; the only one I could locate was in Australia but they apparently don't ship to the US.

Have to say, I’m a bit underwhelmed by the content quality in the reviews. They all seem to have been written by someone who hasn’t spent any time in GT cars, offering no new information to anybody who has been interested in this car. 90% of the content is just repeating the changes from the press release (I.e. what’s changed).

Thats said, they couldn’t be any more positive about the car.
