Thank you for the kind offer. Currently 17k over MSRP is a little too much for me. I was thinking to offer close to MSRP but from the sound of it, I should probably look elsewhere.

Be patient. Inventory is increasing and prices slowly dropping. Going into fall/winter too. Looks like some more GT3 allocations coming for MY 2019. Not many, but will be more cars coming. Same thing as they did 2016 .1 GT3. The dealers and brokers feed off the same storyline.

I do agree with being patient. All the flippers are realizing this wasn’t a big payday so unloading now is what they seem to be doing with some vengeance. Plenty of inventory will bring prices down quickly.

underproduction, not underpricing, a 500k GT2RS would mean a decrease in demand, at 500k many other choices out there, plus the delta between the base 911 models would make it unworkable and eventually shut down production. efficiency and some production line changes allowed them to bring boxster/cayman in house, they could easily far that out again and build more 911s and solve the supply side, they have to balance they hype vs the amount of people the current system pisses off and pushes away

So where are these new allocations coming from and going to and can you confirm? Like I posted in another thread I was told there are NO NEW allocations, just that they were pushing some production out therefore letting the dealers input some PTS requests in for current allocations they/their customers already have.

the whole "winter is coming thing"...socal, arizona, nevada, texas, etc. no real winters here. we track all 'winter' so the market stays warm.
dealers in the Northeast might have more pressure but the guys with Gt2 money might have florida residences anyway.

Very true, the mindset that winter brings a downturn in the GT car market is myopic at best.... heck even where we have winters, we spend our time car shopping when its too cold to do anything else....
