Anyway, to sum up:

- Michelin allow more agressive lap times but are not always available, pretty tricky on the wet and get warm slowly
- Dunlop are available easily, not as good as Michelin's for track use but easier to use on the road ( getting warm pretty soon and safer on the wet ).

Anyone to approve or contradict me?
I've heard the same things. I prefer the look of the Michelin's to be honest, but I can't complain about the performance of the Dunlops at all!

That is correct and it's been that way since the 991.1's. With my 991.1 my car came with the Michelin's but another car delivered at the same time came with the Dunlop's

I have had 2 different GT4s and I have run both the Michelins and Dunlops on each (i.e. each GT4 came with the respective tires straight from the factory). My personal experience was that I find the former more compliant and comfortable for every-day use. Haven’t tracked either so cant opine how each do when pushed to the limit, but despite the buckets I find the ride actually more ‘supple’ (relatively speaking) with the Michelins. Perhaps something wasn’t quite right on the first GT4 as on occasion I would top out on road undulations, but not the case now.

Thank you sir. I went with red calipers with black wheels, red belts, and red steering wheel stripe. Blue, black, and red really work well together.
