Well I might be tapping out on my cxx brown seats with piping, script and pepita

That request has now pushed my production until fall which means I won't drive the car until spring 2019.

Leaving that stuff out gets my car delivered in April

You get to drive the car this year and you pay less....sounds like a win-win all around.

Tough call. If those option make the car special for you, I say wait it out. The car will come sonner or later. Sometimes gotta me some sacrifices to get everything want and not settle. Don’t take the easy way out like most people.

Default V215

V215
Recently received this from my dealer.
Apologize in advance for this question, but what is significance of V215? (I recently requested a change in the build-- I dropped the alcantara sun visors-- and PAG accepted and dropped from my build.

We are in the minority with our Dunlops! I took delivery of a November built car this week w/ Dunlops. I wonder how many others that took delivery recently had them as well?

Tough call to make, at the end of the day depends what you value more. If this is a long term keeper and you will find yourself in a yr or two questioning your decision and missing all the CXX items you had originally speced, I say it is worth the wait and no remorse. If on the other hand this is a bridge car until the next best thing arrives and your holding horizon is a yr or two I say take it sooner.

FWIW, my PTS/CXX build just got pushed back today by another month... What was early Apr moved to May, to now end of June. I am planning to do ED so at the end of the day I will still enjoy her for most of the summer, but I can see your internal struggles...

A friend took delivery of his Nov Prod emerald green GT3 and it too had Dunlops. Seems November was Dunlop month!

You are locked from making changes to your build, and your commission is headed for production- you're approved! We're keeping track of Euro Delivery dates now- do you know when your pick up is scheduled?

Thanks!

Mine was built in Dec. so I presume it's just random. Dunlops were developed for the GT3 so they do put either Michelin or Dunlop depending on the availability. It seems like Michelin are privileged ( because faster on a track ) but it can take x2 weeks before they get them so they put Dunlop instead that are more " road focused" but still made to match the GT3.
Anyway, to sum up:

- Michelin allow more agressive lap times but are not always available, pretty tricky on the wet and get warm slowly
- Dunlop are available easily, not as good as Michelin's for track use but easier to use on the road ( getting warm pretty soon and safer on the wet ).

Anyone to approve or contradict me?
