Reference Guide to PTS

Can anyone please identify the blue on this Macan Turbo at the 2018 NY auto show? I am assuming it is PTS since it really doesn't look like it could be anything else. Pretty nice if you ask me!
I have a sapphire blue Macan Turbo and am thinking of ordering a PTS since the colors are basically the same as when I ordered my original in 2014.
Thanks!
There are no other photos available, but this is a video of the car:

Here is a shot capture from the same
video looking less intense of a 'blue':
My guess it's not PTS but the new color offered
on the latest Cayenne. 'Biscay Blue Metallic'.

Thanks! Looks like a pretty close match to me. Unfortunately it'd still be a PTS for Macan since it's not listed in the standard or special colors. Pretty hue if you ask me!

metallic color offering on the Macan. Perhaps replacing
'Sapphire' in that line-up!

What the 'Hellgrün'?
Something I posted on another PTS thread but worth re-posting here
for reference purposes!
What is commonly called 'Jade Green' in
Porsche color history is this color:
And that color ('Hellgrün') was recently approved for
PTS on the 991/718...plus the Macan & Panamera:
'Hellgrün' is not called 'Jade Green' at PAG anymore .
It's 'Lighter Green' to separate it from 'Light Green',
meaning 'Birch Green'.
In reality, the new generation of Germans now at
PAG don't give a damn about the color names in
English. 'Light', 'Lighter'...what next, 'Lightest'!
The folks that make up the PTS approved list are
either too lazy or indifferent to historical precedent
to go back & simply duplicate what these 'vintage'
early 911 colors were called in Porsche's own English-
language color charts & marketing brochures at the
time these colors were first offered to customers in
these external world markets:
PAG recently had to incorporate its old 'vintage'
English name into the PTS list because it was
the subject of confusion & blowback! The were
forced to add (Former Birch Green) after years
of being called simply 'Light Green'.
But it left intact its modern translation (Light Green)
which means absolutedly NOTHING to those seeking
to paint their cars in this old historic/vintage color!
Here is how previously this color was listed on the
PTS approved list:
I hope in future PTS list we will see
(former: Jade Green) next to 'Hellgrün's'
current 'Lighter Green' nomenclature!
*
And no, to answer your question, I don't recall
seeing yet a 'Hellgrün' 991, perhaps because it
was approved for PTS not that long ago!

Back in 2015 I posted these photos of original
'Hellgrün' Porsches from the past. It was one of
the IROC colors for the RSR in 1974. At the time
I wrote this, 'Hellgrün' had not yet been requested
or approved for PTS on the 991.

For comparison with 'Hellgrün, here is a 'Mint Green' gt3 RS:
'MInt' (color code 22R) has slightly more blue tint than 'Hellgrün'.

For everyone interested in stats and colors the new 911.R book from TAG is very cool and has great data,
as it has a list of all 991 911.R cars with their countries, colors and some other details.
It was speculated before that there would be around 80 to 100 PTS 911.R.
But seeing all those PTS cars in the interweb somehow brought up the sense there would be more.
Well no. There are 90 PTS cars, which sticks to a 10% concept that was also speculated on.
Fun fact is that this 10% rule can also be used for the single markets.
That rule pretty much works out for the bigger markets (+10 cars) with two notable exceptions.
Great Brittain just got 1% with their 1 PTS car.
Austria got 20% PTS cars.
...that probably is because of the density of people with Porsche as a last name in that country

Wow, what a thread. Great info throughout, and plenty of color samples. I will admit, I think I have started to forget all the info in here since there was so much, and I had to read the thread over a week or so.
My dealer submitted my build with PTS "Signal Green", as requested, and was told my car would be built in April. Delivery date is still pending.
After reviewing this thead though, I still can't quite tell the difference between RS Green and Signal Green. I can (sort of, depending upon the photo!!) tell Viper Green is a bit darker than RS/Signal, but it's been very difficult to tell the difference between Signal/RS...I think I remember people saying Signal has a more yellow tint, while RS has a more blue tint.
I have only been able to see one photo showing the difference, and that is Eduardo's post with the RS next to the Signal Porsche, which was very helpful. Does anyone have any other photos of these two colors together? If not, no problem (or maybe I just forgot while I was reading this thread!!)
Thank you for all the information!!!
