Default Montoya's European Delivery Blog

Well, the work I have put into the PTS list payed off today! Beoliving was nice enough to contact me with the news that he and a bunch of crazy Germans have rented Leipzig for part of the day that I'm doing my European delivery. There was a meet and greet at their hotel in Leipzig, followed by a walking tour and then a fabulous dinner. More to come, but I'll let the pictures do the talking for now:

Delivery day coming!!!

Sweet! That is perfect! Hopefully that means you get to drive the cool portions of the track where they replicated the carousel and the corkscrew. They only had me drive the short inside course.

Hopefully they let you drive the full "long" circuit. But, its rarely available on factory open days (M-F and half Saturday) because they use part of it for testing the cars as they come off the production line. Its a reasonably long configuration with the only downside being the corkscrew and the carousel are not included. The short configuration also excludes these corners. Typically, they are only used in the very short "handling" configuration. Hope you enjoy the day.

Andre -
The color is killer, enjoy the Euro delivery and track time. It’s nice to see your turn come up after all of the PTS monitoring you’ve been doing. Very happy for you, best of luck.

Congrats, Andre! Have a great time there. My Touring should be completed today so don't be taking any photos of my "PTS Confidential" Really like the orange - I was tempted to buy this VW Bus last month. I'm sure your car is faster and corners better too
