WTB - I'm looking for a replacement for the long lamented RS60 that I sold to a good friend back in 2013. (He gave it to his wife; they got divorced; she got the car and dumped it!) The ideal car would be a single owner, low miles car with no accidents or issues. I prefer the red interior and black top, but others will be considered. I'm only looking for a manual shift car. Did I mention, only looking for a stick shift? I know the unicorn I'm looking for is out there, and I'm prepared to pay the correct price for it. PM me and let me know what you've got! Thanks!
Thanks…where is the list maintained? Can’t seem to find it here😅
Sorry, I saw this the other morning at work, but my company's IT policy seems to block Google Sheets, and then I forgot about it by the time I got home. Anyway, here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
I've tried to capture all the information in this thread, and I've been adding cars that I see for sale on Bring a Trailer and other sites, but let me know if you see any errors or anything I missed.
Adding my car to this list ... I bought "Ruby" on June 1, 2013, with 12k miles. She now has 45k miles. Still love driving her. #1131 with red interior, black top, manual transmission, painted crests on the wheels. "Ruby"
They’ve become expensive… the ones I’ve seen for sale in the past two years ranged from one for $35k in the US to one for €45k in Europe! So I’ll just hang on to mine. I’ve just moved it from Dubai to Spain!
I’ve also been surprised how many Porsche fans know about the RS60. I was talking to a guy who had a GT3 and he asked me what car I had. I offhandedly said “oh, a Boxster,” and he asked me which one, so I said “RS60 Spyder”. His eyes lit up and he said “the one with the red leather?!” Yes

You weren't kidding -- here's a $70k asking price from a dealership in Tacoma Washington -- https://www.porschetacoma.com/used/P...74b9e6ff03.htm
They previously had this listed for NINETY thousand, and listed as just a Spyder (not RS60). Which makes me think they bought this for around 30-40k, and then literally are turning around and listed at 90. These guys are jokesters.

That's nuts. Yet also makes me feel even better about already having one
Anyone experiencing oil burning a lot when using "sport mode"? My oil was full but dropped 2 bars after a quick run up the mountain for a morning drive about 40 miles around trip.
Bumping this thread - anyone selling or thinking of selling an RS60 red on red? Would love to hear what you have
Are you still looking? I have to sell mine, “Ruby” as pictured above. Red interior with 6 speed transmission. See more pics on Autotrader. I have listed for $43.9k.

The electronic oil meter is really unreliable. If you measured before and after that mountain run, it's always going to be a two bar difference.
Finally got this yesterday... the badge that should have been on the car in the first place, instead of the anonymous "Boxster S"
Now I just have to figure out where to position it, because the "Boxster S" logo is curved to match the car -- this one isn't. So I should probably move it up higher on the trunk lid, because it would look a bit jarring to have a straight logo on a curved surface.
First need to get the transmission fixed though... there's a high pitched whine in there, probably a bearing that is about to give out...
That's fantastic! I've looked to see if I could find stock emblems to replicate the "RS60" I was thinking possible something RS, and separate 6 and 0. After I'd had my car a while, I was cleaning it and put the spoiler up. I'd never seen it with the spoiler up before, and noticed that a PO had put "RS" badging on the back of the spoiler.
