RS60 Registry Spreadsheet
Hey fellow RS60 owners:
Inspired by the 987.2 registry thread, and building off of what @Bartmack started here, I spent a couple of hours this weekend compiling the info out of this thread into a Google Docs spreadsheet, located here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing. I believe I have it set up so anyone with this link can view it, so please let me know if that's not the case. I tried to capture serial number, user name, city / state / country, and top and interior color. If there was a mention of transmission type, or a picture that showed it, I tried to include that as well, but I didn't even attempt to go through all the details of everyone's options and features (except my own).
Feel free to check if the info on your car is correct, and let me know if it's not. If you PM me with an email address, I think I've figured out how I can then give you permission to edit the spreadsheet yourself. Or you can send me whatever details you'd like to add or correct and I'll do it when I get a chance.
Feedback welcomed, but go easy on me! I'm pretty good at MS Excel, but this is actually the first time I've done anything with the Google spreadsheet. I have no idea how to make a slick form for entering details, like the other user did with the 987.2 spreadsheet. I'm happy to try to maintain the list and make whatever (easy) updates anyone wants, but it may take me a few days to get to it in the evenings and weekends.
Enjoy!

Does this thread really belong in the the main 987 parent thread? Although our RS60's are referred to as a "Spyder" in it's name, it is technically not a Spyder model as generally referred to in this 986 sub-thread.

Yes you’re right, I’m not sure how it ended up here. I’ll move it....

Finally got this yesterday... the badge that should have been on the car in the first place, instead of the anonymous "Boxster S"
Now I just have to figure out where to position it, because the "Boxster S" logo is curved to match the car -- this one isn't. So I should probably move it up higher on the trunk lid, because it would look a bit jarring to have a straight logo on a curved surface.
First need to get the transmission fixed though... there's a high pitched whine in there, probably a bearing that is about to give out...

The "RS60 Spyder" badge is very cool! I thought about buying one off of ebay when I first got my car, but I figured I'd probably never be happy with the installation, so I passed. There was recently an original owner's manual for an 1959 RSK Spyder that sold on Bring a Trailer (for $2600!!!! ), and the font for the logo was the same as your badge and as the sill plates on our cars. I thought that was kind of cool.
