My first Boxster was a '99 2.5, purchased new. I bought this CPO RS 60 Spyder this past April. I LOVE this car; have added colored wheel centers, clear side markers, crest valve caps and an "RS 60 Spyder" rear plate frame -- also a beautiful factory cover for upcoming hibernation!

A friend who lives nearby has a nearly identical car that he purchased several years ago. Two years ago I considered buying an RS 60 with charcoal top & interior that was available. It was nice, but I'm glad now that I passed on it. The red top & interior really make the car stand out.

I'll post a pic when I get to it.

Thanks Bartmack for keeping this forum going. You've done a great job over the years. My #454 is right at 11,900 miles, still looks new and has never seen a raindrop. The TPMS light is on though, so I took her to Porsche dealer and they told me that the sensors(batteries?) died and it would cost upwards of $800 to replace. Service mgr. said most people actually drive their cars and tires are usually replaced after 5yrs. and sensors are replaced then(when they have the tires off the wheels). But my tires still have some life to them, although the rears are about ready to be changed. Front tires look good, but I hate that "light" on the dash, so I'm thinking about retreading all four. I might be thinking about selling her after retread. I love my Sunday drives and the car has been terrific, but it's hard to justify her. I've owned Porsches for almost 20yrs. now, but I've also cut back on work. This may be my last Porsche so I'm reluctant to sell. Undecided in South Carolina! Keep up the good work!
