You're right about the nav tho. I have the phone mounted next to the center stack so i can see it when i use maps, but the screen is pretty small.
One annoying feature of the stock radio: When it comes on, it's LOUD.

Replaced the frunk struts today along with the clutch cruise control switch. Easy, low cost 5 minutes updates.

I washed it by hand.
Not well, but it was getting dirty even for me.

I thought the leading and underside sections of my mirror covers were cracking and needing repainting. Turns out a previous owner had put a clear protective film on that area and it had dried and cracked. Took a heat gun, a plastic blade and some Goo-B-Gone and removed it. Mirror covers look like new again!

Painted the center console Gloss Black in the Sand Beige interior
Got my Oil Temp gauge installed and working. The green digital is a Volt/Ammeter. It alternates a display. The camera is too fast for the screen

Besides the replacement maintenance items (2 year interval on my FSI engine) which are boring to mention:
-Replaced stock side radiators and a/c condensers with CSF rads and condensers
-added CSF middle radiator including required duct work
-installed BRS/Bilt oversized radiator side ducts (removed LED spars)
-removed headlight washer components
-FSI under drive crank pulley

Replaced both driver & passenger side door film and replaced the driver's side door sill cover that's very scuffed up from 14 years of use.
They were not kidding when the instruction says use 5mm allen key as the door sill cover is bolted onto the frame with giant bolts.

Last year, I replaced the driver's side sill. And - yes - I had to cut the lower "L" of my 5MM Allen key in order to fit the tight confines between the sill and the seat.
I also know what that film is because I mean to replace it, but haven't yet done so. I even have the part number!

Great work and great to find someone who is bothered enough about similar things to do something about it!

Both these items are huge eye sores. I make a mental note of not hitting the door sill cover with my feet but sometimes I still do especially in winter.
I see that you can buy vinyl cover for the door sill cover, but it would still bother me knowing that the scuffs are underneath the vinyl cover!
