@Bibbs - did you use the existing wiring but replace the components? I think this would be a good medium for an install, but without having run wiring. If there is a way to adapt the bose line out plug on the speaker side (i.e. a pigtail or otherwise), that would make for a tidy install without having to run too many wires to each individual speaker.
Using the stock looms for the doors, and for the amp. Little pig tails for the speakers.

Made 2 small looms to plug a new amp to the old amp plugs.

Used new wiring for headunit power etc from the battery and fuse box.

Rear speakers are on their own loom merged into the ISO connector, sub is on RCA.

@juvenescence did you use a fiber-optic adapter for the BOSE system?
@Rocket3004, yes I did. The brand I used was Avin. I actually have a spare(both were from another user on this board) if you're interested.

I guess it wasn't technically today. But a couple days ago my Cayman got a 'mini me' ... hahaha

(even the correct color represented...)

Installed center radiator kit from Suncoast. Probably a total of 6 hours work, including sourcing and replacing the battery that died in the process. As others have said, the majority of the work was bumper removal and install.

Replaced the very worn, original rear hood strut with a new one.

Finally was able to find a set of yellow front signal LED lights from Lasfit that do not hyper flash or cause an error on the dash.

Washed it and went to a GTG. Found a 911T. Anyone know the year?

Local PCA friend (retired Army Colonel w/PhD) with a mint 944 S2 dropped by today to see my P-cars and was blown away by how new my 150k+ mile 944 S feels compared to his and told me he had never driven a Cayman. That was it.

Fortunately our rural, wooded country neighborhood has its own Nurburgring 6 mile loop for testing any cars handling, so I put him in the drivers seat and kept having to tell him, "Get on it!" you're going too slow, and "No! You DON'T NEED BRAKES!" in many turns. He was blown away, now talking about finding one for himself.

Like third time that's happened.......what would you expect from driving the closest thing to the perfect car?
