Picked up my Cayman R from BGB Motorsports last week. Proceeded to drive it home for a quick oil change and then left for Helen GA the next day.

I always watch when I have my wheels balanced. There's a lot of things that tire techs miss. 1. make sure the rim is not bent or out of round. 2. Once you get the Road Force number, if it's above 20, make them move the wheel on the rim to get the number down, the machine tells them how to move it. 3. If after moving it, the number is still 20 or higher, get a new tire, cuz it will never balance out right.

From reading your posts I suspect they bent something when they were raising/lowering the car. You may need to take it to the dealer and get it aligned, they'll be able to tell you if it's all straight.

Replaced the windshield washer pump today. Not an overly difficult job; it required a bit of force so make sure your car is stable on jacks. The washer bottle and pump are behind the US driver side wheel well.

Tires and wheels all good the shop did road forced balance all tires and now perfect and to correct the alignment the inner and outer tie rod ends needs to be replaced due to rust and corrosion that the tech can't get anymore turns on them. can't wait

Hm, highly suspect that there's something else bent/broken/worn out in your front suspension. Also, you might want to take it to another alignment shop, from your posts it doesn't sound like they are Porsche quality...

Crossed a milestone yesterday morning

Today my office is having a small car show so I added my bike as an accessory, do you think anyone will notice I haven't finished wrapping the car yet? lol

Thanks! The brand is Aluko vinyl and I got it during a Black Friday sale last year. The vinyl is "OK" on most of the panels that I did (Fenders, Hood, Door) but I really struggled when doing the front bumper so I paid a local guy to do the front and rear bumpers for me. He mentioned that the vinyl is quite thick and difficult to work with in the tight corners. It's likely meant more for Signs and buses/trucks, not so much for curvy sports cars. As for the process, its not too bad, I just watched a bunch of youtube vids and am patiently doing it on weekends when I have time.

I love the color though so I think I'll remove the wrap in the winter and try painting the car in the same color (the original silver paint has seen better days).

I've also painted some of the grey interior highlights the same teal.

Cheers,
Julian

picked the car up yesterday pretty happy with the result she now track straight still has a tiny shimmy over 100 but i can live with it since i don't go that fast a lot (sometimes, lol). I suspect the tires but i'll deal with it when the time comes for replacement (currently Conti Extreme).
contemplating 19" next season. thanks for all the comments and help. Happy Motoring!

One thing you can do is borrow a buddy's wheels/tires and see what changes. I suspect (history of 50 years of messing with tires) that one of the tires has a belt separating in it.

Another reason to have at least two wheel/tire setups
