Sorry, but this is just great.
The subtle lighting, the car, the road.

Love the rest too, better than any magazine to just sit and scroll through.

Thanks for taking the effort...

Thank you! I'm considering removing the power lines but with gradient in the sky, it'll be pretty time consuming. At that point I'd also take out the bumper plugs.

Time consuming? It's super easy - barely an inconvenience! A little vignette thrown in as well.

Nice. Did you just use the clone tool? That's what I was thinking of doing.

Although now I'm not sure which version I like more. Since the power lines have a bow to them, it goes with the curvy road. If the lines were straight, then definitely more of a distraction.

Neat work!
I always end with stripes in sky when I attempt similar...

Interesting as you note too, without them the balance and tension are not as pleasing as with.
A crop from lower left might fix that though...

Yup, the photo isn’t compositionally balanced. But it shows a nice Pcar so ... all good!

Agree!
There ends today's photography lesson...

I've got two rolls of Portra in the can, so had better sharpen up my game.

Default Episode 1 Video

A few months ago the thought of making videos of my work came up and now it's finally here.

For anyone who's been following this thread, these episodes are really just video versions of my work with some DIY elements thrown in for good measure. I'm also sharing these with friends and family who aren't necessarily car savvy so hoping to make it somewhat entertaining.

Admittedly an oil change and brake fluid flush is pretty boring (especially for this forum) but I need content to practice editing, finding my shtick, and to become more comfortable in front of the camera. On the flip side, all the time spent worrying about finding the right camera angles and recharging batteries led to me missing an important step.

Episode 2 which I'm wrapping up today will be more interesting.

Didn't really take that many pics but here are a few for those who don't feel like watching.

Thanks for checking it out! I'm editing Episode 2 now which should be more interesting.

Glad you're still enjoying it. I've barely seen any Sapphire Blue 981s lately, then again we're all staying home these days.

Appreciate the attention to detail here. Caught this thread randomly when passing through this section a week or two ago. What kinds of jacks are those? Seems like a mini-lift.

Thanks! They're Quick Jacks. I don't have enough ceiling height for a proper 2-post lift so these are the next best thing with the benefit of being able to store them out of the way.
