Opened up the Pot.. Woah..! That is BRIGHT..!!

Two Coats.. Next up is Wet & Dry flatting and then some Polishing..!

Got back to London and gave the Sport a much needed Wash & Wax..!!

Nice!

Here in the South we could not paint those outside...at least not without at least a dozen small flies or other bugs landing on the paint. Well done.

Drove 5000 miles in 6 weeks,
including a trip from Oklahoma to the Boston area.
this past week: Boston area to Erie, PA,
Then to NYC,
Then, back to the Boston area.

600 Wet & Dry that is "so old it's almost just paper".. Perfect for the job..



Flatted nicely..



One down, one to go..

Last week I saved another 7lbs on my 968. I dumped the heavy stock double fan for a Spal VA08-AP71/LL-53A 12V fan. The Spal works as expected very well, even with my AC on in stop-and-go traffic at 86 °F. The Spal is much quieter than the noisy stock fan. So I think it was a worthwhile effort.
Here two pics. The three red arrows indicate the small needed modification on the crossmember above the cooler.

Decided to make some Stowage Covers for my Rear Seat Delete Shelf..

Carpet and Pull Straps are in the post, as are some Magnetic retainers to hold them in place..


I bought this piece of Ply months ago, reserving it for this very Job..

Bendy Wendy, Tape Measure and a Pencil..



Simple, but very effective..

Ready to..

..Jigsaw..

Trial fit.. Perfecto..!

Trial fit the DS in the NDS slot to very template..

When I used marine varnish on furniture they said do 7 coats, Yicks!

Woah..! I think 1 coat for a pair of carpeted internal stowage covers should be sufficient..
