Put the rest of the interior carpet back up in this afternoon. You can there is some fading on the trans tunnel. Looking in to carpet dye but, color matching is a problem....

There are much higher end tech dampers for sure - but typically with one mission in mind - track. If I wasn't going for Konis I would have gone for Bilstein with a sprint geo set up.

Finishing up today with a couple trim pices and then seats.... Wash later this afternoon. Cars and Cappuccino tomorrow!
As a side note; not sure how I feel about the raised console lid. May put the original back on in its place....
Also, I need to figure out how to do the letters on the gear selector cover. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks Jerry. When it went for its respray, I removed the interior (including the dash) and cleaned all the carpets, redyed all the colored parts with Colorplus products they matched perfectly to the original colors. The magenta parts had turned black.... Even the piping on the seats had turned gray.

Jerry, I went with M030 sway bars front and rear, adjustable Konis front and rear (set one adjustment from soft) and some alignment tweeks off of stock, new castor blocks and the car drives so much better yet isn't too firm for the daily drives or long trips. M030 springs and torsion bars are too firm for daily rides. Didn't do M030 brakes but added drilled rotors and SS brake lines. Strut tower brace and steering brace and it drives like it should have originally IMHO. Pretty close to the CS set up, except not lowered so my wife can get in and out without complaining too much.

I'm going for some cross drilled rotors and stainless lines as well. Don't think I need big reds or anything.

Right, I left both the springs and torsion bars stock. That's what affects the ride stiffness and I didn't want it too stiff for non-track use. But Porsche M030 front bar and Lindsay Racing M030 rear bar (more adjustments than Porsche bar). Design 1 Racing strut tower brace and lower steering bar (both NLA). Car rides absolutely flat through the twisties, no body roll, yipee!
Big Reds were too much for my driving style, and expensive. So I added Stop-Tech cross drilled rotors which are great Porterfield 4S street pads. RSBARN SS lines. Car stops much better, and quieter.
My wife says the ride is much better than the stock set-up, so that's all the validation I needed! :-)

Chuck, why is that hideous-looking red car parked next your gorgeous car? Some people have no sense of propriety :-)
