Love the Maritime color on the coupes it doesnt stand out as much as the Riviera its a softer pastel! I believe that the 14th '92 only tip car was the one in bad shape here in San Francisco on craigslist earlier in the year?

Great work Jeff!

I remember seeing the Tip coupe for sale when I was searching for my car. I wish I would have saved pictures of it. It looked a little rough. I would love that Maritime blue cab with partial cloth sport seats. Might have to make some custom ones of my own. Here is a picture of #4 (same car as Jeff posted above) in its current state.

Thanks again Jeff, you're cool.

Yes, the tip was for sale in Hayward and I went and test drove it. I wanted to buy it but I couldn't swing it financially, and when I called back a month later he said he sold it a couple days before. It was indeed rough, but I'm good at rolling projects.

Here is #2 (I can't find my own pics of it right now):

when I started in 968's i thought this is the one of the best colors for it - in the meantime some colors are much more attractive to me: riviera blue, signal green, bloody orange

The only 968 in blood orange was one of the Turbo S models, it was (is?) for sale in Germany.

Sean,
Bad news. It looks like #7 never made it to the US. They could have either kept in Germany or wrecked it or who knows what but the carFax comes back with 0 records.

The 968's style and the economy of the time took a real tole on these cars when in the showroom! Then not to mention this color? Its possible that someone purchased it and never titled the car its on MSO or original bill of sale for there collection because with heated seats, and LSD someone payed up front for it? It could have 32 miles on it just sitting in a airplane hanger somewhere with a cover on it!!!
