I'd be pretty shocked if a Porsche center-plug engine blew up at 7-8 PSI with all forged internals and 112-ish octane equivalent...but either way, if I went for a V8 it would probably be a 1UZ-FE, not your beloved small block Chevy.

Wait until you're driving down the highway and it's 95 degrees and 110% humidity and suddenly you discover that even with the fan on max and the windows and the roof open at 120 mph, it's still unbearably hot. Ask me how I know.

You shoulda' bought a cab. I drive mine with the top down here in Phoenix all the time. No AC, just plenty of wind.

Wow, AC delete - that's pretty hard-core. I'm converting my car to a mostly-track car, but even for just the drive to and from the track here in sweltering central Texas with our five-month heat waves known as "summer," I'm keeping the AC. If I ever go completely off the deep end and make it a full-time race car, I'll go ahead and pull the AC.

I still have the AC bracket for Rogue Ant should he choose to run AC.

the compressor is lying at the bottom of a brook.

How are you going to do without the AC in your part of the country? Are you planning to only drive it in the fall, winter, and spring? I actually went through one Austin summer with my AC broken, and it was brutal.

Then I would have no shade.

In South Florida, Spring and Fall are unlivable without A/C. And sometimes Winter.

After living for years without AC in my 951... I put it back in this summer! Yep, now I remember what I've been missing

I do LOVE what you've done with the headlights! And after seeing the 911 Targa, I'm starting to wonder what a 968 Targa would look like...
