but, the car is coming on the carrier in a few days *(and i'll post about 30~40 pics right here).
I hit some major snags with sourcing 90° and 120° sweep/analog gauges for the instrument cluster....
but, now I'm just down to sourcing a 120° sweep/oil temp gauge.

here's a lovely 968 with a few sweet mods for the track.....
https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...ce-winner.html
my car:
i'm separated from the car for a couple more weeks/
the car arrived in California needing a good cleaning from the trip.
Doug (Amber Lamps) is in the process of re-routing my starter circuit and building a push button deal.
along with a few other things.....
next up; engine spiffing/detailing, buffing the car, all the nice pics you've been waiting so patiently for
and videos.

ok, so Doug's getting into the rear wheel bearings and...........
well 22 years and 200 k miles. it appears it was time...
or would it be safer to say the sh_t basically disintegrated upon getting everything loose.
apparently, everything was mostly all held together by rust. which apparently required a lot of heat.....
and endless battering.
the fun starts about halfway down this page here......

Finally, after weeks of waiting for my chest to mend, we can finally say that the rear end is back together.
* New rear wheel bearings
* New C/V boots
* Rebuilt C/V joints
* New C/V joint bolts
* New Weltmeister rear sway bar
* New Adjustable rear Koni shocks
* New "milled" Texstar rear pads
* Painted rear calipers
* New rear soft brake lines w/clips
* New "suicide" starter switch
* Clean engine bay
You know what's funny?......I spend 25-30 hours under Allen's car and he wants me to take pictures of the F'ing engine.![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)
