The provisional entry list for Albi is on the net !!!! 25 cars including 17 Saloon Cars and 8 GT Classic ....... Free practice on Friday at the end of the morning, we will see more clearly on those present.

In GTC2, I am happy to find my team manager Gbf Racing-Team Sébastien Mathieu and his magnificent M3 GTR Evo.

Thanks Gilbert. Very impressive.
The front of my torque curve of my V8, is naturally, rounder.
But, your flat torque curves is very similar to my LS which is (also) very flat,
(unlike the more peaky 427).
We are ~near the same HP; w/ my engine about just under 500 at the crank.
i'm running over-square as you know: 388c.i. 4.130 bore w/ 3. 622 stroke
w/ LS9 camshaft (which is a bit livelier albeit modest over stock).
I'm running ported LS3 heads, huge intake and throttle body, LS7 injectors,
long tube 1 7/8" headers, and Bosch GT2 pump.
CBM Motorsports in Fontana, CA performed the recent fine tuning.
i'm not keen to put the engine thru any more dyno tests.
just driving it a lot

The meeting on Albi is over. A gasoline pollution problem hampered the performance of the 968 . The sides of a steel jerrycan corroded and particles left in the gasoline pipes.
Some views of the paddock team GBF Racing

The tests made us discover the problem of gasoline with a difficulty to go up in the RPM !!!

It was not possible for us to dismantle everything and we did both races adding new gasoline.

Return home and major cleaning work on the fuel system !!

Complete cleaning of the fuel circuit, the 3 pumps, the filters, and the tank.

The injectors are cleaned and tested

The reassembly work was finished, but we were surprised to see a new spark plug that no longer worked !!! Cylinder temperature 4 at 150 ° C, the others at 500 ° C ?????
Last job and everything is OK for the meeting on the Dijon circuit next week

Wow. Great stuff.
What Michelin's are those and can you explain the fuel pump configuration
and what pumps you're using?

I chose Michelin to have a wider tire width. Front: 25 instead of 23 and rear 27 instead of 25.
I have 3 pumps. 2 "Facet" pumps ( low pressure) which feed the buffer tank and 1 Bosch high pressure pump which feeds the injectors
