The paddock was well filled for the final that mingled GT Classic with Saloon Cars









The qualifying sessions gave me the 10th placeParticularity,



the two races were done on Sunday !!!Race 1, a beautiful 6th place scrash and victory in GT Classic






Race 2, almost identhique: 7th in the scrash and 2nd in the GT Classic





The 968 has had no problems and finishes in style the 2019 season

Happy for this final !!! I don't have missed my departures !!!! 5th position on the grid, 5th place after the first line following the start line !!!

The new 2020 season is set: 5 Historic Tour meetings + the Motors Cup on the Bugatti




The 968 awaits its revision at the start of the season !

We attack the "material" orders for the pre-season review:
On the menu: 4 belts ; the 4 spark plugs ; the 4 coils; the rocker cover gasket (which dripped after several disassembly / reassembly); 3 oil filters (1 change every two meetings) …… ..and .... that's it !! The 968 will leave at Castellet Car Motorsport at the end of February to receive the "good to run" for the first Historic Tour meeting from 17 to 19 April next. .

All orders have arrived !!!! Spark plugs, coils, belts, oil filters, rocker cover gasket, including the new harness valid until… .2025 !!! There is more than !!! Not next week because it is a short stay in the Paris region on the occasion of "Rétromobile" and the end of season ceremony of the Historic Tour.

News tyres for this season: Michelin "Porsche Cup N2" slicks ( 25/64 front and 27/64 rear) and P2G for wet ( 21/65 front and 24/64 rear) . Yoko ( 23/65 front and 25/65 Rear) will be reserved for free practice

Today, a little cosmetic on the 968 !!! The deflector under the rear wing had torn off in Dijon




And so, I reassembled a new one, hoping that my fixation will hold this time !!!!
