Magnificent weather with high temperatures for this meeting on Nogaro. The GBF Racing team was complete

A new car in GTC2

Friday morning, free practice .... 6th scratch time

Let the front engines cool down

Qualifying practice Friday afternoon: 8th scratch time and 2nd GT Classic

Saturday morning, race 1. Bad grip, too flexible chassis, a slow descent into hell. And finally, a Saloon Car hits me from the back when braking !!! Passage through the pits before leaving to finish .... 16th scratch and 5th in GT Classic

Not significant damage except the damaged rim

Start in the 8th row (16th the day before) and I finish 9th overall and 2nd in the GT Classic !!! The 968 has regained all of its grip; in addition, the shock absorbers have been hardened by +2 at the front and +3 at the rear. It was a good option

A beautiful memory !!!

Sunday morning Race 2. I replaced the BBS / Michelin wheels with the Veloce / Yokohama.

The meeting at Val de Vienne ended the season of the French Historic Circuits Championship.
The weather was changeable, alternating rain, wind and cold !!!
The free and qualifying practice went well

15th place in qualifying

Race 1 took place on a dry track. Choppy race with Safety Car and red flag which erased the gaps obtained previously

For race 2, rain, drizzle on greasy track !!!!

11th at 0 "352 from 10th place !!!!

It's time to close the accounts of this Historic French Circuits / GT Championship, which sees my last participation there.

It remains to make the final of the GT Classic in 15 days Mans !!!

Gilbert, i have an issue where i'm 96% sure my MEXICAN built #044 fuel pump is ******* out past
about 60% open throttle.
i've heard of an occasional failure or 2.
Have any of your racing circle had issues with the oh foah foah pumps after a few thousand miles?
Thanks.

No, sorry, no one I know uses this type of pump, made in Mexique. My pump is made in Repubique Tchéque !!!
Do you have a fuel pressure control gauge on the pressure regulator?

Last meeting 2020: On the Bugatti race track at Le Mans !!!

I share the box with Gilles's TVR Cerbera and Geoffroy's Z3

Qualifications are going well

Race 1 was complicated due to a chaotic start in the first corner. Lost places that had to be recovered !!!

Race 2 was quieter and I secured my 1st place in GTC2

Very beautiful cars took part in this GT Classic / Saloon cars final

Final result of this 2020 GT Classic Trophy

This year 2020 marks my last year of competition.
The 968 will receive its last revision and will be sold.
The end of a beautiful story that I had the pleasure of sharing.

She came out of her long wintering !!! To find his favorite lift; on the menu: The oil seal on the clutch side which was a few drops of oil between two meetings and the replacement of the front discs. It will be waiting for its future owner for ... the track day .... the GT Classic ... the Saloon Cars ..... the Ferdinand Cup ....... the Porsche Motorsport ...... ??? She will be ready for all her disciplines. Contour HD on-board camera, AIM Solo to follow his times, ITS transponders and MyLaps for competitions remain on.

They worked well at Castellet Car Motorsport !!! Tomorrow morning I go up to see it up close and there will be an interested visitor !!! it will fall well.
