If I can make it back to San Francisco that weekend, I'll be there.

Bikes are for sissies - you don't need to ride one. I remember sharks in the park last year, some douchebag on a bike was riding by and started picking on the 928 guys for having wanna-be sports cars, saying they could never compare to a Ferrari. The sharks started eating him alive, and he barely escaped on his little bisexualcycle.

First of all. LOL.
Second, I mean bicycles not deathcycles. I spent a good portion of my life riding on a bike either to school or bonding with my dad on long bike rides.

I was doing some LS1 research and came across this interesting poll and it reminded of LG's wreck.

Heath update:
14 days until one tube comes out.
16 days for both.
19 days for the party
The nerve pain is going lower and lower down my leg.

After driving for the first time alone since Aug 1st I realized whats wrong with my foot. Half the muscles in the calf are not working. So I thought my foot was flopped over, its really being pulled. The other half of my calf is fine but has nothing to "fight" against. So it is "stuck" over to the right. This means I can drive, but I have to use both feet. One for the break and one for gas.

That's not too big of a deal. You'll learn to brake with your left foot pretty easily, and eventually be as smooth as you were with your right. I usually brake with my left foot when I'm not shifting, and always when I'm driving an automatic.

Hopefully it's just a bruised nerve that will resolve. Also, you may need to do physical therapy to keep muscles from atrophing. Been there, done that. It gets better.

Still rootin' for you.

I learned how do drive with both feet 3 years ago. I like it much better than just using one. I even used just my left for a short time, thats even funner.

Thanks Harvey, I want you to pull through too. I have been doing physical therapy for a while now and we have to be careful not to **** off the nerves. If I annoy them in such a way they paralize my whole body. This has happened twice and it really sucks.

I finaly got through to the CHP and they are as shocked as I am when I told them I haven't seen the car yet. The CHP said they never hold onto cars as long as this one has. Apparently the DA is trying to pin anything he can on me with no avail. I'll be speaking to an officer incharge of escorting suspects to their cars under evidence hold tomorrow. I really want to take some pictures and see if something mechanical broke. (Lawyer said its easier to prove mechanical failure than a deer in the road)

On the plus side I have 4 days and 10hrs until the Urologist takes the first tube out. And roughly 10 days until the party. I'm so psyched for it. I'm praying for no rain.

Tell 'em the throttle got stuck open so you couldn't control the car. Say that you heard sometimes the cruise control sticks and holds the throttle open. I don't think in a crash like that a stuck CC will stay stuck.

I dunno das all I gots.

+1.
I recently did some karting and its amazing how quickly you start adapting using your left foot for braking after a few lockups. We just tend to be not so sensitive with our left foot until we have to.

Well, we do have ties with VW/Audi. Tell them the "sudden acceleration" ghost struck you.

That never works for me when I tell that to the officer! "Yes sir. I know I was going 140, but the accelerator stuck to the floor.""

After seeing those pictures, I would say everything mechanical broke.
