Hope you are well, how are you doing? My season was off to a rocky start with a missed shift at Road Atlanta. $4K and a valve job later I was back at Lime Rock, but after working to get the top qualifying spot in class I had a major incident and the car is toast. I had bruised hands, feet and hips but otherwise O.k. Thank goodness for the HANS. Haven't figured out what to do with the car yet, looking to just dump it to someone who can part it or fix it. Looking for an early Cayman S to replace. Looked at this one in Powell, OH on Saturday. Has a lot of the goodies I would have to install anyway. Long time, no see. Hope you have been well. When you get a chance, drop me a line and let me know how you are doing.

Due to Track Chair duties last year I didn't do many PCA races last year. I won my class in both Sprints at Lime Rock, blew a clutch at WG, and then didn't do another race until Road America in Sept. 1st time there, qual & finished 4th out of 7 in the Sprint, then won my class in the Enduro, in the rain, on dry tires. Next week I was at the Glen for our advanced DE, had some coaching from David Murry. Next day a friend of mine was behind me going down the front straight and lost his brakes. I had braked, started to turn in, and he hit me, hard in the rr quarter and then glancing down the side of the car. He hit the tire wall, car was totalled, mine had ~16K. Relatively little mechanical damage. Car should be ready any day from the body shop. I plan to go to Road Atlanta at the end of March for the PCA race.
