Agreed! A remote key fob is one of the first mods I did to my car. I noticed the previous owner had put in a few light scratches in the paint near where you put the key into the locking mechanism. I had enough of that! I found a DIY and bought an inexpensive unit on Amazon.

Google search did not come up with that. I'd consider it for the 928 but I don't have a need for the others.

Since my 964 is mostly a street car like keeping sunroof and ac... I'll splurge on this luxury.

Plus I had to repair one lock cylinder on my 89. It's a pain in the @ss. Hope this minimized that lol. Replacing lock actuator is easier.

And when it's icy out and locks get frozen up. Plus, having to fiddle with that little keylock when you have your hands full is a pia.
