993 prices dipped but they have steadied out, I have to imagine the same will eventually happen to the 964 but when and at what price point?

No quite common in fact

Most 3.8 conversions don't add as much as you would think.

He said that his mechanic confirmed that it was - but he didn't know what brand parts were used for the build. I scare off easily, so I backed off at that point.
Also spoke to the owner on this one , and he did seem a little bit hard to even talk to, very arrogant about the car, i mean it has 160,000 miles almost and he said he won't move on price, well he can keep it, specially now that you are telling us the rebuild isn't even documented

posted 2 days ago. is this priced too high or just fair due to the very low mileage? 80 000 km.

Some things don’t look right to me on this one and having high resolution pictures would definitely help confirm one way or the other.

That Black C2 Targa at University Mitsubishi in Davie,FL advertised as in good condition and offered at $55K is a pure beater. Just saw it. Whoever takes their photos does a great job. Car is a reclamation project. $20k at best. SmH...

Horizon Blue Targa up in Canada rear ended another car and had some straightening on left side. Dealer requires buyer to sign a non refundable deposit and bill of sale before seeing car, they verbally say "you dont have to buy it if you dont like it". Never heard of signing a bill of sale before seeing a car, especially when front of bill of sale states to read fine print of opposite side for t's & c's. The back side wasn't supplied!
Don't know how to verify mileage with no mileage readings on car fax until 72000 kilometers.
Sketchy hard core sales tactics. Passed on it because of that and diminished value of wreck.

Good call Ed and thanks for posting the details so others are aware of the issues. Interior wear/tear seemed excessive considering mileage and with zero records it makes the purchase a high risk gamble. Hopefully someone local can put their eyes on it without the deposit and report back.
