I do understand from many of you here that know these cars that its probably a $300k car if its as nice as they represent it to be.
It looks like an incredible example but truthfully the pictures are a bit too doctored to really get a good idea of the cars condition. I would love to see this in person.....maybe I’ll plan an business trip to AZ during the auctions so I can take a peak.....

That shell oil sticker looks too good to be original (esp with 41k km, given the heat in the engine bay that ends up crinkling it).

That car is stunning, but I agree there's a degree of photo editing that leads to a level of uncertainty. Still though, one of the best looking cars in this thread.

very likely original Imo. I have recently had 106k and 137k examples that still looked pretty good. 42k km? - many fewer heat cycles on that.

could be. but given that many of us have the exact replica shell oil stickers sitting in our garages it would not be a difficult thing to pop on. Me personally I cannot bring myself to take off my original. It just gives me pleasure knowing the paint underneath & surrounding is all original.

Main reason I say that is, the 106k mike engine that I had.... you can tell not much maintenance had been going on, lol. Certainly the last thing on the previous owners list was updating the stickers

I have to agree that the car has been groomed. It is hard to say to what extent. The firing order sticker shows the typical warping the shell sticker is like new which is usually only the case when new. Mine is pretty close to clean minus some small loss of color in two small areas. Not worth replacing and nobody makes one for the 94's.

Steve, did I give you the Car Bone sticker I had? IIRC the font was slightly different or was it the overall size.

Here is an RS similar miles with what AFAIK is an original sticker. The firing order sticker also shows signs of warpage. Hard to say but this appears to be a well cared for 25k mile example that shows signs of use and has had some concours prep done possibly for this sale.

Yes you did give it to me. It stares at me every time I'm standing at my garage work bench ... I can't seem to gain the courage to replace it onto my car,.. yet also can't seem to give it back to you. I'm a knucklehead that way.
Maybe it'll give me good reason to show up at your door, sticker in hand,... and spend a weekend listening to stories from all the spare parts that loom in your shop!!

Oh & regarding the comparison,.. it has a slightly different border size, but the fonts & print is all perfect. Would definitely be hard to tell the difference from my original.

You can keep the sticker but it has been far too long since we got together. Lots of new and interesting things on the horizon. Would love to get together one of these days. I was contemplating Amelia but don't know if I have the energy again and my friends aren't doing the concours this year. Although it is the 964 30 year celebration

He gets a lot of his cars from Japan and they’re all way overpriced.
