http://www.holtmotorsports.com/carimages.php?vin=410500

Seems like a realistic price for a gorgeous car.

I didn’t see a price on the site by the time I looked, what is it listed for?

The Holt car does look nice, but I can't see the factory weld dimples on the right side (as you can see on the left side) where the fender meets the main body structure, it might just be the picture/lighting. When rear fenders are repaired that joint is rarely done in the factory way.
Another way to check for repaired fenders is if the inner edge of the wheel opening is smooth, rather than rough (painted over undercoat). Body shops never redo that surface finish.

For what it's worth, I live near Holt and I highly doubt he would offer a car that was in a rear end collision. Tim has a reputation of only offering the best of the best, and I'm sure if by some chance he did get his hands on a repaired car, he would be the first one to tell you about it.

So is that car priced fairly in the market? I know that I would pay that for it.

If you look closely you can see the dimples, they’re faint due to the light obscuring them.

I think it’s reasonable considering mileage, condition and being a C4. I would definitely want to know that the car has had some of the major work done including suspension and maybe engine reseal (assuming it’s leaking). If not the price is a little strong.

This has got me thinking I should hold out and save up a little longer for my true dream car and old friend.

Hey all,

Amazing how quickly a new post travels in the Porsche world! thank you all for the kind words.
It really means a lot to us that you all know how seriously we take the condition of our cars.

The GR '91 C4 has the texture coating on the wheel well edges & all spot welds in the engine bay are 100% correct.
If anyone is looking for more details give me a ring at the shop tomorrow, late morning. I can go over the car in great detail, send meter readings & detailed photos of any specific area.

FYI, MA135 bought the above mentioned C2 from us and it was a straight, no BS car when we sold it and I'd gladly buy it back.
(MA give me a ring... Might have something you'd like to trade it on?)

Thanks!
-Tim Jr

Edit: Engine is dry and the price is firm.
