The odometer was in miles. It should have been in KM from Japan. This leads me to believe it was swapped and therefore I do not trust the mileage.

It was most certainly NOT all original paint. It looked like it was bumped or otherwise in the right rear. The car showed paintwork in multiple places, but right rear lower quality work.

The seats and interior were verryyy tired for a "53K mile car".

In the context of the market, the price was about right, but I do not think the car was anywhere near as nice as it was represented.
Thanks for the insight. I was curious about that car.

Based upon what I’m seeing I would venture to guess that you can find a good Coupe for about $75K as long as you do your homework and take note and stay away from the lipstick covering the pigs.

Makes me realize what a bargain the Targa is if you’re buying the car for street use.

This one has been here on rennlist for a few months, 67k miles sport seats and somewhat of a rare special color- Wonder why this hasn't sold as it seems fairly priced even being a C4, maybe because its in Canada?

A large part of buying a car is also buying the seller. Sounds like the seller has dropped the ball a few times as noted in the thread, that alone could be a deal killer for many. If I send an email asking a bunch of questions and don’t get much of a response I automatically assume the worst and pass on the car. It looks like it is sold now.

Not for sale yet, but what do you guys think would be a fair market price for my grand prix white 1991 C4 cab? It's totally stock/original and has just 43K miles on it. I bought it from the second owner about three years ago and it's been very well maintained.

Complete with all original paperwork, tools, etc... factory window sticker list price of $86K fully loaded. Factory radio/CD player, light gray "supple leather" option, power seats, special order cobalt blue welting, stitching, carpets and dash.

It received a 1st place "preservation class" award at a local PCA concours event and other awards, since I've owned it.

Absolutely agree, i'm offered a very similar car , same color, sports seats & options but with less miles, haven't bought a C4 before so not sure about it

a white c2 cab tip went thru barrett jackson yesterday. it had $37k miles. i expected high $20-mid $30k. it brought $40k i believe.

which makes $50 for this one a decent price i suppose.

That might be a bit optimistic. A C4 cab with an interior color scheme that isn't exactly the most popular amongst the buyer pool is going to be a tough sell in my opinion..... but I could be wrong. A guy near me about two years ago at the peak of the market had a really nice triple black C2 cab with just barely 40k miles and it sat on the market in the low $40k range. Cabs are harder to sell as are C4 in comparison to C2. All this one is missing is a Tiptronic for a triple whammy. I'm sure it is a great car and I love the white........ but I think C2 and tan, black or solid navy blue interior would help get you close to $50k. Otherwise low 40k based on what I've seen.

id have to disagree with the above valuation. Especially considering the car below:

http://www.racperformance.com/1991-P...ton-TX/6280294

C2 black on Black, slightly higher mileage but as we all know, maintained well ~80k miles is nothing for these cars.
been listed for over 2 months now so I’m wondering why it hasn’t sold...must be a story there.

I would start it at around $49k and think you could get mid $40s. It's hard to find really nice, original & documented 964's. You might want to consider BAT.

This 91 cab sold for around $41k including fees not to long ago.

Also check out past sales.
