On my drive across the state from Spokane to Seattle and back this week I was suffering because of the heat! I've done the RS heater bypass and I'm telling you I still get tons of heat into the car. Even when I don't want it!
So, my question: Is there a fresh air intake somewhere or a setting for the CCU to do this?
It was raining cats and dogs and I had to have the window open a crack and the sunroof open a bit otherwise my eye ***** were drying out from the heat.

Check to see if all the servo motors are operating properly. Sounds like you might have an inoperable servo and it is continually pumping heat into the cabin.

Did you do the relay bridge I.e. Was the system ever working normally with the bypass?
Hi guys
A little knowledge needed please...
i've just got this s/h (quite old but in good condition) Sports cat from a friend and I can't find anything online about it. I believe it was in a race 964.
He said he's not sure whether it's 100 or 200 cell?, all this is little beyond me but it's now fitted and with my cup pipe I think it sounds great.
Anyone recognise this brand or know anything from the details engraved?? It says Part No. KAT C2 and I think 18/04 or 18704
Your help / info would be appreciated... Thanks!
Mike
The air filter housing has four clamps. The front two are easy to close, especially as one end is attached to the box. The rear two long clamps don't appear to be attached and are difficult to fit. Is there a trick to getting these in place and closed?
Plastic tip thing went missing, and it never really worked very well with the oddly-sized 964 cigarette lighter. Anyone 1) Know if I can fix and 2) if there's a better solution to getting this thing to stick properly in the lighter? The OEM pump connector is oversized and fits better than a glove on OJ's hand.
If broken, then easy enough to cut off and replace with new 12v fitting - cheap from Radio Shack / Maplins. To free up the dash 12v socket I wired in an addional socket and have that loose but tucked away under the passenger dash.

Practice and a lot of feel and fiddling. I can sometimes understand the benefit of swapping to a cone filter that many do - more space and access.

Thanks. I got there eventually. One handed placement and clipping action was enough fun, but the level was escalated by making sure the filter edge was square all around. It took three goes to get the latter correct as I didnt want unfiltered air getting in.
