Tuck it into the fender lip first. Then you can apply pressure to the reinforced area closest to the trunk to slide it into place.

I’ve been cleaning up and found this key. I think it might be for wheel nut locks but I can’t find mine to test. Does anyone else have a similar key, and if so, what does it open?

Yep, looks like mine for one lockable wheel nut on each wheel. I replaced mine because I was afraid the road gunk would destroy the lock and the key would work when needed. Who would steal a D90 wheel anyway?

Thanks. I suspect these were for the lock protecting the Speedlines on my Turbo 3.6. I sold it 10 years ago so I think I would have heard by now if there were issues

Default Slow tire leak

I have a slow leak in rear tire. It's a PIA to add air once a month and I really don't want to risk rim damage by taking it to a tire shop. What's the current thought on liquid sealants like Slime?

I think the name speaks for itself.

The bumper is made up of three sections, .123 is the center section. 964 505 163 00 is the right and 964 505 164 00 is the left. You should look at the pet though, the bumper is comprised of many pieces.

As Tom - rear bumper has a few sections (i.e. exhaust cut-out types etc). Your numbers likely referring to the centre section. Basically two types - RS / 3.6 Turbo or the rest. The difference being the RS type is not a full (horizontal) 'flat line'' side to side. That is, the RS centre section has a full recess into the bumper where the reg plate is fixed . I fitted an RS centre section to my rear bumper as I just didn't much like that continuous line across the rear - each to their own and just a personal thing. Popular in the EU.

With the standard or non-RS type there are other world market design variations that accommodate a smaller or larger reg plate type of that region. These too may possibly have varying part numbers specific to that region, so worth asking your local OPC parts dept if that is the case.

The North American center section is the same for all models. It has a smaller center opening for US plates and uses a different lamp for the plates. It would appear it isn't listed in the PET but the proper US center section part number should be. 964.505.023.01. I believe the 123 is the RoW center section.

Here is the standard US center section compared to a RoW Turbo 3.6/RS center section there is also a standard N/A RoW center section that is just flat across. The entire back. These all use different crash bars with hole placement for the tow hook in a different location and different plastic pieces that protrude to help the cover in case of a minor tap.

ROW Turbo/RS top. US spec all models bottom. Note that the US spec center has a full overhang over the plate and will warp over time so make sure you buy a used on that isn't already warped.

Part number on backside of the Blue US spec center section.

https://www.design911.com/p/brake-ca...orsche-993-c4/

question - I am trying to buy new 993 rear calipers for my 964 but I wanted them in silver. I initially thought these being part number .2x at the end made them silver but otherwise they were the same. I see they are listed as OE C4 (not c4s) - are these going to be ok for my conversion on a 964 nb?

I am trying to temporarily re-install my engine tray since I will be using someone else's parking for a few months and would like to avoid small drips. The two screws in the back and the three screws on each side went fine but I could not screw the five or so at the front. I removed everything and realized that these supports don't have a thread which is not super clear in the PET. Am I supposed to use a nut?

Thanks

You need speed nuts.
