That is for the glove box door adjustment.

Just ordered a new fuel filler neck to get rid of the fuel smell in my frunk. I did this replacement on my previous 964 and remember having a hard time sliding the 2 rubber hoses onto the the new filler. Are there any lubricants I can use to make this process easier or do i just need to muscle it?

Don’t forget the gas cap rubber seal ring. I replaced mine and fuel smell gone!

Spray some silicone for a bit of lubrication. Take your time, and gently twist it on rotating back and forth.

On this locking cap, I have one as well. Was that OEM? My bigger question is: Is it possible to lock this cap without a key? I don't have one and would hate to lock myself out of my fuel tank!

Its def OEM. I think it came on a lot of the earlier cars. Another reason I replaced it.......that lock makes me nervous and is very unnecessary these days.

We'll see.... the past few days have me wondering. Do you know if it can be locked without the key? I'm afraid to turn it too far!

I used graphite lubricant in my cap. Could try the key with the cap off the car in case you can’t unlock it.

The car key handles it if it’s the original (red) cap.

Locking caps were OE for Convertibles and Targa’s since the cockpit and fuel release **** is accessible with the top off.

Noticed that my drivers side quarter window frame is missing this small trim piece. I ordered one but wondering how I’m going to adhere it. Passenger side looks to be glued on. Anyone have access to a shop manual with official instructions. If not, any suggestions? 2-part epoxy, body panel tape, etc?
