Well it looks like the xxx.02 and possibly xxx.05 are partially finished parts and need to be honed and chamfered. Found the xxx.00 and they are fully finished part ready to use.

Unfortunately after further analysis it looks like I need to replace all 12 rocker arm bearings and 12 rocker shafts. Press out and press in the new ones, hone and chamfer.

Thanks!
Andrew

You have a great sense of humor! Definitely wear that the next time you're in the pits at the track.

Exhaust all cleaned up. Big question now: Paint it or not?

I ceramic coated mine. Looks great and keeps heat in the pipe. Also cools off pretty quickly.

Ceramic it is then

Titanium/ceramic powder coated: Headers/heat exchangers, cross pipe, cup pipe, exhaust tip and cup pipe bracket.

The rest of the setup.

Thanks!

Stunning! Very nicely done.
BTW, the green shoe really adds the finishing touch.

So, I've changed my username from SausageCat to 964Andrew.

Over the years working on my 964 it gets under your skin. I grew more appreciative of the car and what it represents. I've adjusted my direction with the car from race build to re-build. Recent design, development and production trial of the "Rear Center Light Substitution Panel" proved to be a great experience for me and hopefully great product for the Rennlist community. It is that community and support from so many that make me want to continue with other restoration and modification projects.

I felt that the car, the history and the community required bigger commitment, therefore the user name change.

Thanks!
Andrew

If you ever wondered what's underneath the rear centre reflector - this is whats there.

Since I have sent out all rear centre substitution panel kits including my own, Timothy (Tmistry) has sent me his old OEM panel for experimentation. The plan is to use the custom trimmed mesh to use in place of the old reflector aka "Type A" from the original project months ago. Will update on the progress.

Thanks!
Andrew
