Fitted my new Dynamic Speed wheels over the weekend. They're a close fit so getting the geo right was a complete pig. Loving the period look tho. Its gonna look great topped off with a duck tail

Look good ! Nice to see some Fuchs reps that have some proper dish. The flat faced ones just look all wrong. The deeper the dish the better a Fuchs looks to my eyes...........

Hi Vandit, I built an entire custom engine loom, all sensors and drivers right back to the ECU. There is now just one single deutche Motorsport connector used to join engine to car
There are a few pictures a few pages back but I didn't go into much about it since not many (excluding myself) will find looms sexy

Hey Rob - been following this thread for a while. Bloody inspirational ! Yes, wiring looms are sexy. I want to do the same thing - build a custom loom. How do I go about it ? Can you pM some details please?
regards

Oh my god... those wheels... we need details on sizing!
Edit: Sorry, just saw you already posted the sizes... I was too busy falling all over myself to notice...

Hi guys, thanks for the comments
It's been a while since I updated this thread. Not an enormous amount has been going on since as it's essentially a completed project. You'll be pleased to hear that it is being used regularly, been on a few European trips and never missed a beat. I've been mostly tweaking little stuff like ride height, geo, mapping, brake pads - small incremental changes. This kind of stuff takes a while and evolves as you use it. Fixed the faulty ABS pump (usual issue - corroded valves) Other changes have been a swap to use the 993 pedal box (improved pedal spacing for RHD cars) and the fitting of ducktail which I just LOVE ! I'll post some pictures over the weekend. The next little mod will be to replace the servo and M\C for a 993 unit - no rush on this as I'm only doing it to future proof the car. 993 MCs are a fraction of the cost of those for a 964.
A long time back I bought the dashboard air/heater unit (the type with the old school mechanical slider controls) from an earlier 911 with the intention of fitting it and ditching the HVAC. I do still intend to do this as I love the simplicity. However I seem to have the only FULLY working HVAC system in existence so I'm loathed to pull it until I need to. If it so much as coughs tho, the game will be on.
Maybe a nice stainless exhaust system at some point but really, outside of these the car will stay as is. It's a great drive and I don't want to loose any of that. Well.... maybe a very low pressure supercharger wouldn't go amiss
