Rob, looks great, as said take your time, summer is a long way off yet so not like you need to rush anything

thanks for posting up pictures

I've just noticed my car doesn't have the RH exhaust silencer which is more weight off my car I didn't even know I had

Ha - it does look big but believe it or not it's the same size diameter as the stock exhaust tip. Only difference being that this is round instead of oval. It's a DesignTech.

Glad to hear the clutch line worked so well, may well do the same mod when changing my clutch in a few weeks time

Thankyou - Yes, I've been building cars as a hobby since I was old enough to hold a licence. This is car No5, but this time its a keeper.

Hmm, thanks for the advance warning. I'll cut and shape a guard to go on the bumper.

you can just angle the pipe down slightly

Exactly. I've just put one on mine (it's got the rolled lip like Rob's and is made by Dansk) and adjusted it so that there is a similar gap to the original.

Oh, I think it's a bit lighter than the original too.

do you mean by lowering the silencer ?
