The tunnel cover fresh out the mold It's been roughly trimmed but needs polishing, holes drilled and the edges sealed.
As it is a larger part I've sandwiched a layer of kevlar aramid weave in there.
I think I'll also make some CF copies of the metal parts around the oil cooler. I seem to recall the main tray/bracket that the oil cooler sits on is a fairly hefty lump of steel. The thin steel bracket that supports the end of brake MC is also on the list (circled in blue here) Basically any bit of tin or bracket that lives under the car. No metal = no rust
These will definately be a weekend summer job now as these parts are already attached to car and I don't want to delay the rebuild.

Thankyou - unfortunately I don't think I would. If I were to start making these in any degree of volume I'd have to invest/manufacture proper molds and plugs and vacuum to reduce the labour time. That process in itself is time and costly. Whilst I'm just making one-offs the process is low cost but a lot of labour time (which I can dip in and out of at will). I just don't think it would work out financially or most importantly, from a life balance perspective. I have a very supportive, sympathetic and chilled wife I like that more than cars!

Great work Rob....here's a pic of the oil cooler mount you mentioned ^^
I've just got mine powder coated, not yet fitted so if you need close-up pics or dimensions taking, shoot me a PM.
It is a hefty piece, and taking a fair amount of mass once it's all filled and bouncing around on the rubber mounts (which slide into the cooler rad, then onto 2x pins on the bracket), so you'd need to bear that in mind when making in CF...
