Gents, it works on windows 8 no problem. I've got it running. Windows 8 is really only windows 7 with a skin so it will work fine.

I can post screen shots if you need them. Same install instructions as windows 7

I've never tried a data logger on this. However, I've gathered all necessary info for the OBDPlot application in the T-OBD downloadable. The zip file include several URL's, here's one of them:

I´ve just ordered, Tore and looking forward what the features to heat + climate system are. Idling is allways without a problem after 6month wintertime, I´ve never done an adaptation!

Hi David my scantool was o.k. with win 7 but with win 8 it´s always connecting....
Maybe it would be helpful to see your shots.
(ComPort 4 adjusting in ini file was successful

Did you see post #12 about the location of the ini file and admin rights? Perhaps that is related to what you are seeing?

I just reinstalled the software on my Dell 830 that I loaded Windows 8 (64 bit) on a few weeks ago. It worked fine when attached to the car and I got information and did an adaptation.

Make sure that the com port is set the same in the .ini file and the device manager. I used Com5

BigMike, do you have a LWF? If so, how well did the adaptation work for you? Thanks!
