A technical question for the backdaters: on your 964 backdate what do you do with the oil thermostat that is sticking out once you removed the plastic rockers and don't want put them back.
I looked around on the web but couldn't find any good pictures or details. I've seen some info that suggest relocating it(to where?). I also came across a page on zuffenhaus about backdated oil lines, but not the thermostat. I would appreciate it if you could share your experience.

Thanks!

That whole console screams 964 on an otherwise convincing backdate.

I figured if you're spending the big bucks on the exterior backdate and the whole mechanics of the build (cause you know Rothsport is likely making the car's performance match the appearance), then they would take the additional steps to make the interior appear more period correct.

Haha. Since this looks retro and is an interesting lightweight idea....
I'm not one for much wood in a 911 interior (except 917 shifter), but this might be a solution for someone since it's really hard to h&t with the stock plastic pedal.

That is great, Dorian (the fellow who made it) is an awesome guy.

Would you believe the gray and stripes are a wrap? The new owner wanted something other than the red paint but didn't want to tear everything down for a proper repaint. As a vintage guy at heart, I was surprised by how well it turned out. Snapped the picture on Monday.

Yes, the whole body has been wrapped! The grey itself is not a specific Porsche color.

I was extremely skeptical to start with, BUT it's not a bad way to spice things up. At least for a couple years.
