I love the routing of the AC lines BEHIND the intake system and not diagonally OVER it.
Clean!

Speaking of clean, love the frunk

Does anyone know if the chrome window trim from older 911s will fit the 964 windows? Is it merely a "plug and play" replacement? Or does minor trim has to be done? Anyone ever do it? Thanks in advance for any info.

99% done..if you need any further info do look at my Gulf Blue 964 backdate thread...the climate control unit is in the glovebox.

IMHO if you're going to backdate it go the whole way...remove the 80's vents, change the switches and instruments; the DP work is good but mix and match is too bitsa for me

tomato,
I love the way you did your dashboard and switches.
How much louder is the interior now that the carpets have been stripped?

It isn't loud at all unless you're gunning it. There is zero drone with the Fabspeed which surprised me. But with no carpet every hour or two something starts to make a noise, a cam tensioner, a rear heater blower but that's down to my car needing some work. I am going to carpet it to stop rear shelf reflections, slippery floors and the unpleasant heat that rises into the cabin from the oil lines. Might leave the centre tunnel naked.

Agreed that the DP lines look better, smaller front and rear bumpers much prettier but I wanted to keep the stock AC, oil cooler, heat exchangers and exhausts and just didn't have the budget to re arrange the front and rear. Overall I'm please with what £15k got me

I'd like to change the front and rear bumpers sometime....

The Gulf graphics suck and it'll be sporting some decent orange stripes soon which will help the lines

My car also sits wrong and has panels that need re adjusting, the ride height at the front really isn't anywhere near where it should be. Top shot prettier

Agreed it looks a little high especially at the front but overall it's a fabulous looking car.

Before you stick the current ones in the bin I know an old car they'd look nice on

My boys over at D-Zug are putting the finishing touches on their latest project car, Mjølner. Hope to see it/drive it/picture it in the coming weeks. These boys have such great style (and know how to have more fun in and around Porsches than anyone else I've ever met).

Look at that "one-off" carbon Baby Turbo passenger seat!

Love this frunk!

Not for a 964, but this shows how crazy these guys are. Flat fan project...because a 935 rep wouldn't be a true 935 rep without one.
