this is all great, impressive build quality etc...though one wonders: the most important part on a backdate is the work around front/spare wheel well which still needs to be done ??? So at 6800 euros + shipment in the ballpark figure of 10 k, plus a significant amount of labor....steel still seems to be correct path..

There's some pretty pronounced text on the wheel lip, but I can't make it out on my smartphone. Someone on a desktop w/ the shadow/highlight tool on Photoshop should be able to make it out pretty easily.

It says "Sound Sport Art Special Shop" on one side and "Motor Sport Racing Concept" on the other side.

Wheels are nice on the yellow car and I like the bumper vents too, but the interior is hideous

Like the rear wing (would look even better on a narrow bodied car IMO), and exhaust

Hello mates! I've toying with the idea of hotroding a 964 and never heard of the concept of backdating it to the 64-73 look which I think looks killer. I've been looking at this thread for some time now and think I know how I want to tackle this process. I'm close on closing a deal on 92 c2 that was converted to an rs clone. I figured this would be a good car to start with since the bumpers and hood have already been replaced. Can anyone recommend a shop in Florida preferably south Florida that has experience backdating. I'm not interested in anyone that has not done this before. I know plenty of capable shops but would rather have someone who has done this before. Your help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Big Al,
I think this longhood conversion was done in Tallahassee at G. Davis Auto. (sorry not Southern Florida)
