Re the shifting - I just can't picture how the shifter works - even shifting with engine off would be interesting ie to see how that stick moves.
Re the foam lining under carpet - what thickness did you use?
Love the CG exhaust - had one on my first RS - and the degree that the rear pipes extend is super cool.

The foam lining is as thin as possible, but enough to fill the many wholes a 964 chassis has and to let the thin RS felt carpet look good.
Forecast for the weekend is not to bad... perhaps I can do the shifting video.

Geordie,
it's an adjustable strut brace from Wichers and the cargraphic exhaust is their high end system for the 964. There are a few great exhausts for a 964 which have comparable performance and sound, but non of them is street legal (TÜV Germany) and has the banana silencer to fit under the 1973 RSR bumper.
The issue with the 3.6L engine in the 964 is, that the engine sits much lower than in an early 911 or a G-model. In our red RSR we have the version with manifold,2x100 cells cats AND heating, to support daily driving.
see attached .pdf for further details.
In our green RSR we did not need heating (pure track/race car).

I thought it might be a Wiechers strut brace but was thrown by the "dp" sticker.
The Cargraphic exhaust looks great - I'm very tempted!
At some point I'll
