The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned, at this rate we'll have to book a separate day just for 964's

Just found out myself that a mate from the UK911 996 forum (OZ951) has gone around in 3.02......so the challenge is defo on!

I might even try and stay sober the first night

I'm pretty likely up for this, assuming everything goes smoothly with my rebuild.

I would like to fit a ring trip in though, as I've never been.

I did Spa last year with a bunch from 911UK in my 996 cabrio.

brilliant. Damp in the morning, glorious and dry in the afternoon. Like 2 different tracks!

Roof down all day.

You need a full face helmet in a cab, that's the only issue.

That won't be any use if you go with leaky tyres again.

Junior - great you found this thread. As Grant mentioned the more the merrier!!!!!

I have just contacted Jonny at Bookatrack to start a group booking for this and have requested a "good deal" commeasurate with what we got last year (1 day @ Spa was about £250 and 2 days inclusive was about £450ish with some garages at the track thrown in for free). I will come back with the group booking name once i have it and people can start to put their names down as a placeholder until the final date is confirmed (indicative date would be late March).

I will let you know at the earliest

Just caught up with this one following a chat with BU at Donington. Put me down for 2 days on the track please.

Looking like an awesome crowd!

Don't forget there is new legislation governing driving in France inc the need to carry a breathalyser (cheap disposable things I believe)

More kit... So much for thoughts of lightening the car!

Gday Masher - good stuff. Thanks for the tip on logistical kit. Once we get closer to the date we will recap all this stuff. Grant will be providing a recap on the pitfalls of not rebuilding 3 piece wheels correctly beforehand as well just in case its of use to anyone

Just noticed this - definitely interested for both days.
