and, if it´s going to happen, a friend of me seem to join me. He owns a pure black C4 with AP-Full Exhaust. It sounds really nice and he´s pretty quick.!

 

As an update.

I have diarised to call Jonny at BAT on Friday 9.11.12 to confirm dates for the Spa weekend for 2013 in late March. Jonny confirmed on email they should have the dates firmed up by then.

I would hope that from that pt on we can set up the booking and confirm prices for one day/both days etc and start to put down some deposits on places

I will provide any updates as and when required

Latest on March 2013 dates. I reached out to Jonny today at BAT and he is hoping to have dates firmed up by COB this Friday as BAT are hoping to start to promote the event from this weekend while they are at the track. He is going to advise when he knows for sure but I would say that will be sometime early next week.

Good to hear some news again. It's in my diary and I cannot wait.
Please remind me, how does transport and accommodation get arranged to ensure the social side of this with respect to travelling and beer? Each to their own or have you a cunning plan...?

 

Hi Masher - as per last year we will arrange to be on same channel tunnel and convoy to hotel together (where possible). Hotel will be same place we stayed at last time. Once we have dates we will confirm with hotel on indicative cost and number of rooms etc ( hotel is very good value and has plenty of beer tap. I think we all drank plenty and it cost us about £25 for the whole time)

 

All logistics etc will be covered in plenty of detail in the lead up to the event

 

Can I come and play too. I'm up for the full session. I'm sure Peppa will be ready and run in by then.

Of course mate. No restrictions at this pt. we may just need to sort a second hotel option nearby in case we have numbers that exceed primary hotel option.

I will advise of the BAT booking reference and once that is communicated everyone can start to book up their slot.

 

that would be the weekend of VLN start on the ring and would be perfect for a one day trip to spa on sunday, after beeing on the ring on saturday

I hope my obviously needed seal-job will be finish then...

 

To add to Andrew's note above, the hotel has already been provisionally reserved for us....


....and the convoy is bound to break up and people get lost for a while. We managed to do that with only 6 + 3 last year but we'll all get there in the end in time for beers.
