I can check for additional lodging.
We're staying there every time we go to Spa.
5 min drive from the track. It's called Ferme Libert.

There's a couple of spare places on the day I've organized for us at Donington if you fancy it. See page 5 of this thread:

All the rooms are twins so by doubling up next year we should be fine.

Yeah but I've got to explain to the wife the lack of 964 shaped space in the garage, however I do it it's bound to be expensive and humiliating

In that case, just bring the helmet!

Hi, I'll be up for the Spa trip too. Might try to get to the ring as well as i've done a few hundred laps there on a bike but none in a car :-0

Cheers

I would love to go on this - looks awesome but don't think I will be allowed by the other half with my annual boys snowboard trip so close to the dates

Gonna keep an eye on the thread though - never say never and all that!

Are people generally riding solo or bringing other halves / passengers? i.e is this a boys trip?

After reading the article in Total911 I would love to go on this!

However, I think the first step is to find a decent 964 for sale so I can begin my new project! The search continues...

Now why did you have to post that Frank.....

according to Boxsey I did 3.05 with deflating tyres.....so I hope to get into mid-high 2.50's next year.....now you've really gone and done it with a proper target to aim for!

Its always nice to have targets but that 2.47 is a high hurdle to jump , the driver Phil Schyns is an expert round Spa , he grew up there , and that car was an ex race car (Maxcom 3.8 RSR )

I've seen a youtube vid of a well driven 997GT3RS ( Glenn McM ) that was a tad slower ....

Anyway it'll be good to join you there next year to witness the attempt !

2.46 achieved on slicks (think rear width was 325, perhaps 335!) pushing around 350 bhp, driven by a guy who grew up in the area.

Looking to get to Spa next year as I have missed out this year so this could well be the ticket once I get clearance from chief of staff.
