Looking super nice Paul284pt
Thank you Lateforlunch, much appreciated

Hi Guys,

A precautionary tale:

I was wondering how many any of you who have fitted 18" Fuchs on your hubs and what spacers you have fitted on the rears?

With the RL group purchase they (the distributor) recommended 15mm spacers (spacers on rears only) which I duly purchased at the same time and fitted.

However, fortunately I had nice a message from 9e (Nine-Excellence) who said they had problems with 15mm spacers when racing their 964 on Fuchs, the off-side was catching on the the oil line and that 18mm's are needed.

I said I would check this out and here's the result after about 300 miles:

I'm going to get in touch with JZM tomorrow and send the photos and order some 18mm spacers. This isn't serious at the moment and there hasn't been any significant loading on the wheel. I would think on a track it would easily wear through.

Thanks Nine- Excellence :bow down:

Cheers for now,
Paul

Order Rotiforms built to spec with custom offsets and you don't need spacers on your brand new wheels.

Very true but some folk prefer genuine Otto Fuch made Fuch wheels.

Busted the piggy bank for these bad boys from Otto Fuchs.
9 and 7J x17 both ET55 with 255/40 and 205/50 tyres. No spacers necessary.
